Briefly on RASA
We are female choir RASA from Ogre Town (about 30 km from Riga) in Latvia, has been together already since 1997, and we enjoy it very much. However we not only sing together, but spend time together for recreation and relaxation as well. We represent a number of different occupations – students, housekeepers, teachers, accountants, financial experts, public sector and local government staff, stewardesses, cooks, medical staff, bank managers, TV data quality experts etc.; therefore it is even more interesting for us to be together. Our average age is 34 years. We are also one of the best female choirs in Latvia – our good success in national choir contests proves that. We have participated also in several international festivals and contests (in Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia and Czech Republic). We already have very good friends in Latvia, but we would like to befriend choirs from other countries, too, to invite them to visit us and our beautiful country near the Baltic Sea, as well as to explore unknown foreign countries ourselves.
